Farmers selling produce, eggs and homemade bread every
from 7:30am to noon
Local farmers and Women, Infants and Children have joined forces to encourage young families to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Fresh produce is available twice a week for those who have WIC coupons and those who don't at the Safford Chamber of Commerce parking lot. Local farmers gather on Tuesday and Saturday to sell their fresh goods to the public. Getting there early is key because once the farmers are sold out, they head home. It puts more money back into Safford's economy and saves a whole lot of gas. Today I headed down to the Chamber of Commerce parking lot at 7:30 a.m. I wanted to visit the local Farmers Market. Have you been? Oh, my goodness! What an experience you’ve been missing if you haven’t.
